Finance & Stewardship
The Finance and Stewardship Committee helps oversee the responsible management of the financial resources of Hallsville Presbyterian Church. This committee works to ensure that the church’s ministries and programs are supported through careful planning, transparency, and faithful stewardship. By monitoring financial needs and encouraging generosity, the committee helps sustain the mission and ministry of the church both now and in the future.
Responsibilities
The Finance and Stewardship Committee assists in the preparation and oversight of the church’s annual budget and helps review financial reports throughout the year. The committee works closely with the church treasurer and Session to monitor income and expenses and to ensure that financial resources are used responsibly in support of the church’s ministries. In addition, the committee helps encourage stewardship within the congregation by promoting faithful giving and helping members understand how their support contributes to the work of the church.
