What belongs in a shoebox?
Choose new, quality items a child can enjoy and use. Start with one special “wow” item, then fill the box.
What to pack
- A medium-to-large “wow” toy
- Soccer ball and pump
- Stuffed animal or doll
- Pencils, pens, and notebooks
- Crayons, markers, and scissors
- Toothbrush and washcloth
- Comb or hairbrush
- Clothing and accessories
- Crafts, puzzles, or jump rope
- A personal note and photo
What not to pack
- Soap, toothpaste, or liquids
- Food, candy, or gum
